The association Havbruksleverandorene has 31 member companies. They represent an estimated 80 percent of the total sales of aquaculture industry equipment from Norway.

Last year, association members had a combined turnover of NOK 2.140 billion (€272.5 million/$334.1 million), but in 2010 they are expecting to recover to the 2008-level. That year, sales totaled NOK 2.480 billion (€315.8 million/$387.1 million).

That’s according to an e-mail sent to IntraFish by Kjell Tommeraas. He is the spokesman for Havbruksleverandorene, formerly Norske Leverandorer til Havbruksnæringen (NLTH).
