Ignacio Gonzalez, former CEO of Spanish packaged meat and frozen seafood supplier Campofrio, confirmed on his twitter account that he is the CEO of New Pescanova.
“After four years leading a fantastic project in Campofrio, I have accepted the Pescanova challenge. I’m grateful, sad, and excited. Mixed feelings” he said on his twitter account.
New Pescanova's board of directors named Ignacio Gonzalez as Pescanova's CEO in December, but Gonzalez only confirmed the rumors on Tuesday.
Pescanova, meanwhile, responded to Gonzalez's tweet by welcoming him.
