The reason for Ewos' initiative is the government is discussing the introduction of control of the ingredients used in fish feed to ensure they come from sustainably managed resources.
“It is high time that fisheries authorities tell us which stocks that are not sustainably managed. And it's only natural that they do. For it is the government agency responsible for managing, and there are those who have the best knowledge,” he said.
