Norwegian salmon prices remain high, with one well-informed source saying an average of NOK 44 (€5.80/$7.50) per kilogram on the spot market for sizes 3-6 could be reached next week, delivered Oslo (FCA).
"This could even go further up," one farmer in northern Norway told IntraFish.
The price difference between salmon shipped directly from plants and FCA Oslo is minimal. Farmers in northern Norway are said to get the following prices next week.
2-3 kilograms: NOK 36 (€4.70/$6.20)
3-4 kilograms: NOK 41 (€5.40/$7)
4-5 kilograms: NOK 42 (€5.50/$7.20)
5-6 kilograms: NOK 43.50
