MacKnight says Pacific failed to deliver on the terms of sale agreements signed in February it says required Pacific to sell 400,000 pounds of premium “D trim” Norwegian Atlantic salmon fillets.

As a result, MacKnight says it was forced to go elsewhere and pay higher prices to buy salmon it expected to receive from Pacific so it could meet its contractual demands to its customers.

Pacific, in filing the lawsuit in Superior Court Washington state, where the subsidiary that entered into the sales agreement, Pacific Seafood Corp.
