Danish food group Uhrenholt is divesting its seafood company -- Uhrenholt Seafood A/S -- in a bid to tighten its business structure, Sune Uhrenholt, president and CEO at the company, told IntraFish.
The decision to restructure was made about a year ago but the actual sales process did not begin until late last year. The group is still in the process of selling the entities which were part of Uhrenholt Seafood, he said.
"We'll still be doing a lot of seafood under our Emborg and Friendship brands -- but Uhrenholt and the world has changed a lot.
