Croatian seabass and seabream producer Cromaris is banking on continuous investments to become a "quality leader in the industry," CEO Goran Markulin told IntraFish.
Last year, the company's parent, Adris, announced it plans to invest around HRK 370 million (€48.3 million/$52.6 million) in Cromaris' operations.
This is a "continuous investments in building a branded fresh fish business that Adris has started seven to eight years ago," Markulin said.
It will support further growth and efficiency of the company, partly in terms of production, and partly in terms of marketing "where the goal is to offer premium quality extra fresh products."
