Indonesian shrimp and feed producer Central Proteinaprima (CP Prima) reported a loss in the first half of this year, despite strong sales which improved 10.5 percent.
According to the company’s financial results, net sales increased to IDR 4.64 trillion (€316.2 million/$343.4 million) up from IDR 4.2 trillion (€286.2 million/$310.8 million), in the same period a year earlier.
Gross profit also went up over the six months to the end of June, to reach IDR 780 billion (€53.2 million/$57.7 million) up 22.8 percent from IDR 635.4
