Indonesian shrimp and food producer Central Proteinaprima (CP Prima) will invest INR 400 billion ($31 million/€27.3 million) into its new processed food and feedstock plant in Sepanjang, East Java, according to The Jakarta Globe.

Feed production at the new plant, first announced last August, is expected to reach 40,000 metric tons.

The company's floating fish feed mill in Lampung reached capacity of 50,000 metric tons last December, bringing the group's total feedmill capacity to 579,000 metric tons, and putting the company on target to produce 550,000 metric tons of feed by the end of the year, a 5 percent increase.
