The Jakarta-based company, which exports shrimp as well as feed and fry, generated 55 percent of its shrimp sales from selling to the United States over the first half, compared to 40 percent for 2010, said company spokeman George Basoeki.
Its shrimp sales totalled IDR 1.35 trillion (€111.68 million/$157.95 million) for the first half of 2011, up 44.4 percent year-on-year from the figure of IDR 956.05 million (€79.09 million/$111.85 million) for the first half of 2010, Basoeki told IntraFish.
This means the company sold shrimp worth $86.35
