A request by ousted Bumble Bee CEO Chris Lischewski to travel to Colombia has been denied by a US court in San Francisco.
Lischewski was asking the court for permission to travel to Cartagena, Colombia, for six days to attend his only nephew’s wedding.
The Justice Department argued against the trip, citing an extradition treaty between the United States and Colombia that does not provide a legal basis for extradition should Lischewski choose to remain in Colombia.
