Cooke Aquaculture is to use its Heritage Salmon brand for fish farmed in Chile as part of an advertising campaign geared at the southern United States, from Georgia to California.
The brand, which has been used for the salmon it farms in Eastern Canada and Maine for the past seven years, will now be used for the fish Cooke farms in Chile.
“We haven’t done a full launch yet, but we’re at the cusp of doing a major launch with retailers across the United States,” Andrew Lively, a spokesman for Cooke, told IntraFish.
