Converto Capital ups stake in Aker Seafoods to 73%

Converto Capital Fund has Thursday acquired 6,550,516 shares in Aker Seafoods at a price of NOK 6 (€0.78/$1.1) per share, constituting a total of  7.74 percent of the share capital.

After this acquisition, Converto owns a total of 62,293,254 shares in Aker Seafoods, constituting 73.59 percent of the share capital.

Frank Reite, a former executive with Paine and Partners and chairman of Aker Seafoods, is the CEO of Converto.

Reite was not available for comment to IntraFish.
