Clearwater recently snagged a professional from the IT field to join its team.
John Burwash, a “highly accomplished” IT executive, will serve as vice president and chief information officer for Clearwater.
"We always look for the best, both in and outside the seafood industry," Tyrone Cotie, Clearwater's treasurer, told IntraFish. "John happened to be the best candidate."
Burwash will be building upon an IT agenda, taking charge of a responsive and customer service-oriented team and ensuring that system upgrades provide a strong enough foundation to fuel Clearwater's next phase of growth, Cotie said.
