This was the reply IntraFish received from Igor Sernysjenko at an "invite only" meeting held at the Brussels seafood exposition. Sernysjenko is the top man for the Russian veterinary authority’s organizaiton.
The meeting gathered more than 130 exporters from an estimated 15 countries, representatives for administration and industrial organizations in various countries, and Russian importers.
This meeting was organized by the veterinary authority and The Association of Fish Processing and Trading Companies, the organization for the 20 biggest importers in Russia.
