The Myanmar Ministry of Commerce and government of Yunnan Province, China, signed a memorandum allowing the legal export of rice and fisheries from Myanmar through the Muse border trade gate, reported Myanmar Times.
The agreement will take effect in May under the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
The barter came after Myanmar agricultural products accumulated at warehouses near the border in China to crack down on illegal border trade.
