Marisol Turres first announced in 2009 that she would use legal means to gain compensation from Norway for Chile’s ISA crisis.
The case did not develop at the time, but now Turres – who is originally a lawyer -- is launching it anew.
Her decision follows the news, in the New York Times, that Cermaq has thrown its support behind a study showing that ova from Norway’s salmon producers could have been a cause for bringing ISA to Chile.
