AquaBench is the firm Chile’s salmon industry turns to when analysis on the sector is required.
Yet its name is an unfamiliar one to many foreigners.
AquaBench is not as yet engaged in economic analysis or benchmarking of financial yield capacity, as is the case with the Norwegian seafood consultancy Kontali Analyse.
Instead, the Chilean group has focused on production figures and fish health. Its staff are also engaged in consultancy and control activities. Bio-security is an appropriate catchphrase.
AquaBench has a clientele of around 40 ‘regulars’ plus a number of casual customers.
