Now the Chilean Web site Aqua reported Alvestad Marin is freezing its operation and instead appointing a local agent, Vevos Chile SA
The intention is to focus on the Norwegian home market in expectation of better times for the salmon industry in South America. In Norway, the company is concentrating on developing a new recycling system.
