Certification group Food Certification International (FCI) is fielding more interest in Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) chain-of-custody certification, James Allan of FCI told IntraFish.
Six additional companies from the Russian Pollock Association (PCA) contacted FCI last weekend and requested audits, Allan said. If certified, some 80 percent of the PCA would carry chain-of-custody certification.
