Russia's food safety authority Rosselkhoznadzor will be sending a letter this week to its Norwegian counterpart with details of the results from inspections at 10 Norwegian salmon plants, carried out a month ago.
Four of them will regain permission to sell its products to Russia, but only frozen and not fresh.
This was confirmed to IntraFish by Bjorn Rothe Knudsen of the Norwegian Food Safety Authority (NFSA), who heads negotiations for the Norwegian delegation in the work group discussing trading of fish between Norway and Russia.
