Last July, Aarskog left his position as CEO of Leroy Seafood, Norway’s second-largest salmon producer, to instead lead Marine Harvest, the world’s largest salmon producer.
Now annual statements from the two companies show that Aarskog received NOK 3.8 million (€487,584/$693,356) in payment from Leroy last year.
He then received another NOK 4.2 million (€538,909/$766,340) in payment from Marine Harvest. Of that, NOK 2.6 million (€333,610/$474,401) was salary and NOK 1.5 million (€192,467/$273,693) bonus.
