US canned seafood giant Bumble Bee Foods is focusing on organic growth, after looking at acquisitions last year that didn’t come off.

The San Diego, California-based company, the third largest seafood company in the United States in turnover, looked at foodservice processor Icelandic USA and also Brazilian canned seafood company Coqueiro last year, but High Liner Foods and Camil Alimentos ended up winning in those processes.
