Brazilian fish processing plants are starting to return to normal as a damaging 11-day national strike by truck drivers wound down Friday.

"All of the plants are running again," Francisco Medeiros, CEO of aquaculture trade body Peixe BR told IntraFish.

"Feed hasn't arrived everywhere for logistical reasons but by Monday-Tuesday things should be back to normal," he added.

Fears that the strike may be prolonged by a 72-hour oil refinery workers stoppage dissipated when it was unexpectedly called off.
