Thanks to a new federal law, New Zealand’s largest king salmon company has plans to more than double its operations, and the minister of fisheries predicts an aquaculture industry expansion nationwide.
New Zealand King Salmon, which produces 70 percent of New Zealand’s king salmon, has launched its application process for eight new sites in addition to its current seven, CEO Grant Rosewarne told IntraFish.
