Police have confirmed a body found floating in Tampa Bay is that of a Tampa restaurateur missing since he was ejected from his race boat.
The body of Chris Parker, 37, a co-founder of the Bonefish Grill, was discovered Monday five miles south of where Parker's boat flipped Jan. 25. Officials confirmed the body's identity Tuesday.
Parker and Tim Curci opened the first Bonefish Grill in St. Petersburg in 2000. By the next year, the partners sold a 50 percent stake to Outback Steakhouses Inc.
