BioMar Chile's Eduardo Hagedorn -- currently chief financial officer (CFO) at the feed giant -- will take over as general manager of the company in mid-October, Henrik Aarestrup, vice president of emerging markets division for the group confirmed to IntraFish.
Hagedorn will replace Martin Leon, who has been general director at the company since 2013.
Hagedorn joined BioMar as chief financial officer in 2012 and has been member of the board at Chilean salmon farmer Salmones Austral since 2013.
Previously, Hagedorn worked as general manager of Mitsubishi-owned Salmones Humboldt from 2009 to 2012.
