Bear & Wolf President Peter Kuttel, who co-founded the Seattle, Wash.-based company in 2000 with Sean O'Leary, confirmed to IntraFish Friday he intended to buy out O'Leary's share in the business, but declined to offer additional details pending completion of the deal.
"I'm in the process of doing it," Kuttel said of the deal.
Bear & Wolf has quietly emerged as a leading mid-sized supplier of Alaska seafood through its efforts in value-adding and marketing.
The company boasts among its customers big box retail giant Costco, which carries Bear & Wolf's canned salmon under its Kirkland private label.
