Austevoll Seafood CEO Arne Mogster is expecting anchovy quotas in Peru to return to normal in 2016 after two years with abnormally low quotas due to the weather phenomenon El Niño.
Austevoll-owned Austral Group harvests anchovies and produces fishmeal and fish oil in land-based facilities in the country.
“We’ve had two years in 2014 and 2015 battling with challenges connected to the quotas, Mogster said last week.
"Now it looks as though for the warm temperatures are tapering off and returning to normal toward next season.
