The Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI) has replaced longtime Domestic Marketing Director Claudia Hogue with a virtual unknown in the seafood industry, ASMI Executive Director Alexa Tonkovich told IntraFish.

Food and beverage marketing veteran Victoria Parr was named this week to fill the position vacated by Hogue in September after 21 years. Parr, a Seattle native, has "a very broad base of branding experience," Tonkovich said.

Parr worked most recently as the marketing manager at Coast Produce Company in Los Angeles and has also been the managing director of branding and marketing at Petaluma Creamery, and a marketing manager within the Hollywood industry.
