If there were any doubt about the growing power of Asian companies – China in particular -- just take a look at the biggest deals of the past year – you’ll oftentimes see Asian companies at the center of them.
A few examples: Thai Union has its sights set on $4 billion in sales, Pacific Andes is intent on growing its empire abroad, and Nippon Suisan Kaisha is turning its focus away from the flattening domestic market and toward building up its global operations.
