AquaGen is the world’s largest salmon breeding technology company. Its market share in Norway is more than 50 percent while it is also the biggest player in Chile, with a market share of 35 percent.
And Chile offers the only growth potential at the moment, Rodseth said.
“Ova production in Europe – which means Norway, Scotland and the Faroe Islands – has flattened out the last three years; there are no prospects here for growth.
