The new AquaChile officially launched on April 2, following the integration of Los Fiordos, AquaChile, Salmones Magallanes and Friosur, all operations now owned by Chilean agro-food giant Agrosuper.
The group is the world’s second largest farmer behind Mowi, and Chile’s largest farmer with an annual production of around 200,000 metric tons.
“We aim to be a contribution to the industry, which is so important for the south of Chile, and to contribute to help feeding millions of people in the world,” said Sady Delgado, CEO of AquaChile.
