A massive fire that broke out around 7 pm Tuesday at AquaChile facilities in Puerto Montt, Chile, has been contained, source within AquaChile told IntraFish, and the company is now waiting for permission from authorities to inspect damage, which spread from the processing plant and into the company's storage room, maintenance office and refrigeration area.
Investigators were still on scene Wednesday attempting to determine the cause of the fire which originated in one of AquaChile's processing plants in the Cardonal sector of Puerto Montt Chile, a company spokesperson said.
