US -based seafood supplier Aqua Star has named Dirk Leuenberger the company's new president.
Leuenberger is a long-time seafood executive who held a senior position with Chicken of the Sea.
Leuenberger did not return calls for comment on the job switch.
The change at Aqua Star follows the departure in August of company CEO Mike Girton.
Bob Hooey, who founded the company with Girton in the early 1990s, is now the CEO of Seattle-based Aqua Star, whose sales are roughly $450 million annually.
