Dutch seafood traders Anova Seafood and Seafood Connection have come to an agreement for a "strategic transfer" of the processing and sales of frozen activities of Anova to the latter.
Over the last few years Anova Seafood has become a significant player both in fresh and frozen seafood products mainly to the European market.
Products are supplied under its own brands "Anova", "Sea & We" and "Del Mare", in addition to several private label products.
Anova Seafood is aiming to further specialize itself in the next couple of years by focusing on the processing and sales of fresh and chilled products from its production facilities in the Netherlands, it said.
