Angulas Aguinaga, owners of La Gula del Norte brand, would not confirm or deny reports in the Spanish press that its private equity owner is putting it up for sale.
Jacobo Mugica, export manager at Angulas Aguinaga, told IntraFish, that he was not allowed to comment on the rumors, but did say the figures mentioned in the article were incorrect.
“My president has confirmed that the figures are not true, and the company is not yet officially to be sold as far as I know,” he told IntraFish.
