John Cummings will be leaving American Pride Seafoods as a result of the sale of the company on Monday to Canada's High Liner Foods for $50 million (€37 million). He served as president of New Bedford-based American Pride, a subsidiary of Seattle-based American Seafoods, for 11 years.
Cummings, former president of failed online seafood venture GoFish.com, took over as president and COO of American Seafoods International -- the predecessor of what is now American Pride -- in April, 2002. Prior to that he was president of Danvers, Mass.-based
