Ernie Doizaki, chairman of Los Angeles-based American Fish & Seafood, told IntraFish CEO and President Jim Lanter retired a few weeks ago.
Lanter, a long-time employee with the firm, was named vice president in 1982 when Doizaki, whose family owns American Fish & Seafood, took the helm following his father’s death.
Lanter was named CEO and president in 2002. Since then, Doizaki has served as chairman of the board. Doizaki said he will assume Lanter's duties while the search for a replacement is on.
