The Trans-Pacific Partnership's biggest winners could be Alaska pollock producers, as trade tariffs over frozen pollock surimi and roe to Japan will be completely eliminated once the deal goes live.
The tariffs over Alaskan pollock surimi from the United States will be reduced to zero from the current 4.2 percent immediately when the TPP take effect, the Japanese government announced.
