Now that AgriMarine has sold the Norwegian rights to its closed-containment salmon farming technology to private equity fund Akvatech AS, CEO Sean Wilton has big plans for the next two years.

“It will certainly be the period where we start to realize the biggest benefits of our technology to date,” Wilton told IntraFish. “The next two years are when we turn the corner on that, and it becomes a time when the company can actually fund its own growth.”

The agreement also brings some "needed cash" into the AgriMarine while binging its brand into the biggest salmon farming investment market in the world.

Agrimarine has had to do “a lot of heavy lifting” to get to this point.
