More than 162,000 people worldwide are asking the largest retailers to "end modern slavery" by pulling Thai shrimp products from their shelves.

Following the revelation of slavery, human trafficking, and abuse of migrant workers in Thailand's fishing industry, activists are calling on Carrefour, Costco, and Walmart to stop selling seafood products from Thailand.

Charoen Pokphand (CP) Foods, Thailand's largest shrimp feed producer and farming company, has been at the forefront of the reports and members of Anti-Slavery International, a global human rights group, have joined Project Issara, a Thai-based initiative to end modern slavery.
