Striking workers at a BioMar feed plant in Pargua, Chile, in the Los Lagos region have voted to continue their action, IntraFish has learned.

Talks to resolve the dispute are expected to continue this week.

Workers began taking action over pay and conditions on April 8. Employees earlier barricaded Chile's Ruta 5, one of the country's main highways, as part of their protest.

Despite BioMar management presenting various solutions, including an improved offer, those options have been rejected by workers, who are demanding "a dignified agreement."
