Danish whitefish processing giant Espersen is on the hunt for a suitable factory in the United Kingdom, part of the group's plan to move closer to one of its largest markets and ramp up its foodservice business there.
The Ronne-based company has been looking to establish itself in the UK market -- which accounts for roughly 30 percent of its annual sales -- for the past couple of years, and Brexit bureaucracy has only solidified these plans, Espersen CEO Klaus Nielsen told IntraFish.
