A second attempt by Norwegian fish health group STIM to halt the Europe-wide sale of BioMar's smoltification feed over patent infringement has been thrown out of court.

Just before Christmas 2020, the Oslo County Court ruled that the feed, called Intro Tuning, does not infringe on STIM's new European patent -- which was granted in the summer of 2020 -- and therefore rejected the latter's demands that a ban be placed on the sale of the product.
