UK supplier Sykes Seafood took advantage of a £9 million (€10.4 million/$12.4 million) COVID-19 loan from the UK government in August 2020 to help offset the slowdown in its foodservice business while, at the same time, boosting its retail sales -- a move that helped it weather the COVID-19 storm.

‌The company reported a turnover of £136.5 million (€157.1 million/$187.6 million) for the 15 months ending March 28, 2020.
