With the majority of Alaska pollock plant workers either fully vaccinated or having received their first dose, inshore plants dramatically ramped up production through the end of March.
"Right now I think the seafood industry has ready access to all the vaccines they need," Dr. Ann Jarris, CEO of Discovery Health MD, told IntraFish.
"The immunization rate differs by companies. Most I think are pushing for at least 90 percent, but are working through vaccine hesitancy issues."
