Maruha Nichiro-owned Dutch trader Seafood Connection is making its first moves in the vegan seafood space, with the launch of sushi inspired products.

The Seacon Vegan product range comprises Iki Tunini and Iki Masagi, alongside edamame (soybeans) and wakame (seaweed salad).

Iki Masagi is a substitute for masago, also known as fish roe, and is based on seaweed extract.
