Russian health authorities have lifted a ban on imports from four facilities that process or distribute Chilean salmon and seafood, Chile's National Fisheries and Aquaculture Service (Sernapesca) said.

Sernapesca announced Tuesday that Salmones Camanchaca, Exportadora los Fiordos Limitada, Granja Marina Tornagaleones and Hook Chile -- all based in the southern Los Lagos region -- were cleared for exporting to Russia on Feb. 26.

In 2019, bans were implemented on 19 Chilean facilities that process or distribute farmed salmon following an audit carried out by Russian health body Rosselkhoznadzor, including Cermaq, Nova Austral and Multiexport.
