Norwegian salmon farmer Kvaroy Arctic is featuring its products on Microsoft-backed wholesale distribution firm Pod Foods starting Feb. 23, making it easier for US-based retailers to access the company's range of value-added salmon products.

So far, New York's Cherry Hill Markets, Dallas and Austin's Cox Farm Market and Chicagoland's Acron Acres have committed to carrying Kvaroy Arctic through the Pod Foods network, the company said.

Pod Foods is a tech-enabled wholesale distribution network backed by Microsoft's venture arm M12, Moment Ventures and Unshackled VC.

Kvaroy and US salmon smoker Santa Barbara Smokehouse won a listing for a new co-branded smoked salmon product at Amazon-owned Whole Foods in October.

Kvaroy also launched salmon hot dogs and salmon burgers on FultonFishMarket.com in 2020.
